Spending hours making a presentation that is perfect, only for it not to be used or look like overkill, is disappointing. You do not have to worry about dealing with the slide design headache or finding a designer since AI-supported tools are there to your rescue—you can make businesslike presentations in no time—so that you can deliver your course instead of wasting time on the slide design part.
Under those circumstances, you are not supposed to overwork while stealing the show to land a good job. Various features and highlights of AI presentation software can be really helpful. Actually, Microsoft PowerPoint has an “AI co-teacher” in the assistant unit, but I did not come across this feature in my dashboard. Consequently, I came up with a time-saving and very efficient solution, injecting AI into the presentation platform by using the Prezi AI tool. The thing that really stuck out to me was its name which is very simple, and it sounds like Australians love to shorten words! Nevertheless, the main point is that Prezi AI has very accessible prices. That means they have a free version as well as paid ones that start from $7 up to $39 a month. My choice was a monthly plan of $29 that besides all the other cool stuff features infographics, and it comes with a 14-day trial.
Getting set up with an AI tool

I signed up for Prezi AI Premium & set a reminder when my free trial ends—all in all so that I do not get charged unexpectedly.
Prezi AI took me through the onboarding once I stepped in; It then asked for my presentation key details to retrieve the proper content and design ideas. Likewise, an option to add PDF as well which allows the AI some better understanding of your content as a whole But you can bypass this too and go straight for a template. I then used a campaign idea I had generated for an agency client in brainstorming this test. I entered my objectives in to the little text box in Prezi AI so that is could start helping me mould my presentation.
I began with this prompt to see what that AI Prezi can do;
“ I want to do the professional and creatively lay out my first thoughts of campaign for Zayed National Museum in the united Arab Emirates I want to blend my notes with strategist notes so we can do a story to this. I am for a minimalist clean design. You want me to send you that doc? ”
But I immediately knew that Prezi AI is not simply an AI chat tool like any other — it produces fake design without answering my question.
I saved all my notes to PDF and inbound the prompt manually to fix this but it. Prezi AI only pulls from the text content so graphics/ charts are not included, any ideas on how automating this?
Refining and finalizing the slide deck

Well, I liked how Prezi AI laid out my slides as a storyboard but some imagery were a little much. Like, it was picture of Steve Jobs and (likely because of Egypt) a shot from The Bucket List such (nobody knows).
Nevertheless, the AI could not get the brand/company/concept/look right and had a shot at image from Pixar’s The Incredibles. Because the AI didn’t complete properly my specific instructions to only go by text PDF content — I fixed up that was the best generated version in human edit form. I hand-inserted some key missing content, and elements that where not needed and replaced the bad brand visuals for final presentation to be what I wanted.
How long did it take to make a PowerPoint presentation with AI?
I spent around 30 minutes modifying the AI-generated presentation till I got it right. Though the time spent is not the desire of my heart, it was the best decision as I would have spent a lot of time doing things from the beginning to ensure the layout turned out perfect.
The final result was not as I expected but it was time-saving. One of the things that I really like is the smooth transition of the slides, just a small swipe to the right, and then it moves interactively—almost like navigating a map.
One more advantage. AI tools only come better with every use. Further to that, with every round of edit they start to get closer to your style, thus, in the future, you can do the changes in an easier way. Do not forget to review the wording and the visuals making sure that they agree with your thoughts.
